We worked with Jesse Winchester as our selling and buying agent. We had a wonderful experience with him and felt taken care of from the start. Although the selling of our house had some hiccups as a result of covid, we were never afraid because Jesse took care of it. In buying a home, we were really picky in what we wanted and Jesse took us to see so many houses. When we found the right home, he navigated us through the process and made sure everything went smoothly. Honestly, we have been nothing but thrilled about the whole process! Some of the things that surprised and delighted us as clients that Jesse did for us: • He staged our home to help attract buyers and spent multiple visits helping us get it looking its best. He even brought items from his own home. It made a huge difference! • Selling any home is stressful, but we also sold during both my husband’s busy work seasons and mine. Jesse drove 45 minutes one way to bring us dinner one night just because he knew we were overwhelmed with life. It was incredibly thoughtful of him and meant a lot to us. • One of the days he came by with staging stuff he also potted plants for us in our front yard to help it look better to buyers. I was blown away by the amount of effort he personally put in to help us sell our house. I’ve never seen an agent invest so much. • I appreciated the systematic way in which he posted our listing and the way he wrote it as well. The time and day he posted were incredibly helpful for having so many people come look at the house the first couple of days it was listed. • Jesse uses a great photographer for all his homes he’s selling both great and small. I’m a professional photographer, and I was obsessed with the photos of our house! In this day and age, photos are what sell a house and we had great ones! So thankful! • We put so many miles on Jesse’s car to look at houses. I lost count of how many houses we requested to see. He never complained, and when we didn’t like a house, he would always tell us it is a numbers game and not to settle. We didn’t and I’m so glad because we found a house we love that was super comfortable in our budget. • Another thing about Berkshire Hathaway and Jesse is that they are detailed oriented. Their forms are thorough and all the information is collected. I noticed a number of times when the other agent had missed or omitted information, Jesse either requested it be fixed or he corrected the paperwork himself. Buying and selling is really stressful, and it is comforting to know that the person in charge of your account is super detailed oriented and will make sure that everything is done right. • I was surprised by the response times. They were very quick. Jesse explained to us about how there was a whole team working on our listing and all the multitasking that was happening. It made me so appreciative of the whole team at Berkshire Hathaway and the way they run their business. • Another thing I really appreciated is that Jesse was very honest with me. Even when the answer was not what I wanted, I knew I wasn’t being manipulated. That was huge a thing for me that helped me know I had chosen the right realtor. • We were advocated for but in a kind way. Jesse took care of us as clients but also respected the other people in the business. I respect that. • Covid was the main cause of hiccups in the buying and selling process, but Jesse handled the mess with grace and worked hard to get us into our home as soon as possible.
